I did it! I managed to get my wife Debbie to start collecting license plates. I had tried without success to get her interested in collecting graphic plates with cardinals on them. Since Debbie works as a teacher in a child care center, on a whim, I bought her the Kentucky kid-themed graphic plate shown below. Much to my surprise, she loved it! Now, when I return from attending a plate meet, she asks me, "Did you get me any kids plates?"
I had struggled for a couple of months about what to write about these plates. On most other similar pages on this web site, I've written a few lines of information about each plate. I hadn't had time to do the research necessary to say anything meaningful about these. Ultimately, I decided to just let the plates speak for themselves. So, without further ado, here they are.
...and here's one from my own collection. My interest in this plate are the letters "RK" in the plate number.
